Honest about our role
We are a referral site, not a service company. We say so on the home page, in the FAQ and in the referral disclosure.
About
About Richmond Duct Cleaning and how referrals work
Richmond Duct Cleaning is a local guide and referral site. It is not a duct cleaning company. It exists to help Richmond residents understand duct and vent services and reach independent providers.
The site exists because duct cleaning is hard to judge from the outside. Prices vary, claims about air quality are often overstated, and gas-related rules in BC are not widely understood. We wanted one place that explains these things in plain language.
When you enquire, we pass your details to an independent local provider where one is available. That provider deals with you directly, sets the price and does the work. We do not clean ducts, send staff to your home or guarantee any provider's work.
Read our referral disclosure for the full detail on how referrals work. Browse the articles and contact us by phone, form or email at hello@richmondductcleaning.ca.
What we stand for
What you can expect from us.
Balanced on benefits
We report what the CMHC study was reported to find: no significant air quality gain from duct cleaning in the homes tested.
Careful with regulation
We name authorities such as Technical Safety BC and avoid legal advice. We tell you to verify details yourself.
Local, not generic
Area pages cover real Richmond detail, and where we know little, we say less rather than fill space.
